Jackson ❤ set mine up with dimarizo super distortion 3 in my bridge. Dimarizo MoJo in my neck. With a floyed rose special, but upgraded it with titanium, noises springs , brass claw , brass fine tuners, guyker locking tuners. Titanium string blocks . I never have a problem with my floyed rose special.

I could order a custom guitar from LEF guitars, get it shipped to europe and still have money left over. Not to mention a way better guitar.
This reminds me of Ibanez's dumb tactic of having stainless steel frets on almost all Premium models, but only on some Prestige models and on NO J.Custom models. ????

I have 2 good Floyd Rose equipped guitars, ones Jackson and the other EVH Wolfgang and they both are top notch Floyd rose special units I believe and both are perfectly operating and have no flaws, great units that get crapped on for no reason.

these guitar got very good reviews. First of all you pay for the sound thats way these models ale more expensive than imported Jackson. Now these guitars are cheaper..You can get it for less money ..

My first electric was a Squier Strat made in Korea. That guitar was awesome. Koreans made excellent product in the 90s. Don't know if that's still true.

Guitar players follow trends like crazy! Being 46 years young i am old enough to have seen this myself. When i was young if anyone bought a guitar the very first thing they wanted was a floyd rose double locking tremolo! It was a deal breaker if it didnt have one! You would be laughed out of the room at best. Everyone wanted to be able to stay in tune.Now i guess the trend has become , i like my weird tunings and it takes me ten minutes on my double locking tremolo to get in drop d tuning. Because my jackson floyd rose works great for what its for using the wammy bar and returning to tuned it does that great! So everyones just doesnt like that it takes a minute to change tuning right? If you play hard rock or metal music jackson and BC Rich are iconic.

I love Jackson, been a fan since forever. However, why would I pay this much when I can get new Ibanez RGRT421 for $500? I know it's not a valid argument however I paid $250 for a used one. For these price points they should have original floyds, stainless steel frets etc.

Where do you find that the 1000 series Floyd Roses are made of lower quality metals? Everything points to them being the same as the German-made, they're just made as an OEM in Korea. Kind of a ridiculous claim.
Yea, inflation sucks ween and guitar prices are ridiculous now, but a Korean-made Floyd isn't the deal breaker.
My only complaint is the nickel frets it should have stainless steel frets but honestly the neck is seriously so damn good that imo its worth paying the premium its comfy and fast and this guitar can do anything. And i agree it should have a an original floyd if it had the ss frets and oroginal floyd this guitar would be a beast. but the neck is a 10/10 its so damn fast
It seems like this series is like the American performer fenders, USA made at a low price.
And the actual DK1, SL1, etc. Moved up to team built custom shop like the fender American custom line.
$3K, I would expect a BJ thrown in.

Well you're wearing a Fender hat and you are obviously into Fender strats and such. Last time I checked Jackson is owned by Fender so I would say they are controlling the prices? I could be wrong ????

Love the Jackson look but sold my dkmgt a while back, didnt played great and the sound was so thin compared to my ec1000. I regret it sometimes, with the reversed headstock and satin black it looked great. But these newer models are just insanely priced and still made in china and other average stuff.

For this much wonga I want a quarter sawn neck and tru-oil type finish, and the frets must be flawless. Pls tell me these specs are correct for this price point. If it at least has these specs, I would consider forking out the extra expense for an original FR to fit myself.
Not taking metal guitar advice off of someone with a room full of non metal guitars, I bought a new Corona made Jackson and its incredible, the cheap inlays kills the mojo on lower end models
not defending jackson here but a lot of guitars are this expensive and have similar specs. ESP USA models are clear up to 5k brand new these days. some of their EII models are almost 3k, no stainless steel frets. The one music man petrucci model in black has a non original floyd and it was upwards of 3k new. But theres no competing with the korean or japanese models for the value.
