  • Funny story, I bought tickets for AC show for my husband who's a fan of early King Crimson. Without doing any research we both just assumed it was going to be early KC. I'm an 80s girl and I was blown away with the music and talent that I'm a new super fan! I have no idea how I got through the 80s and never heard any of this music! My husband was disappointed he wasn't hearing his favorite songs. It was just funny that I thought I'd be sitting there for his sake and it turned completely opposite! What an absolute delightful surprise that night was for me!????❤

  • Man, there was a blues jam at the VFW last night. Steve would have loved it. I'm 28, there was a 21 year old, a guy in his 30s and a guy in his 50s. We played together an hour after it ended having fun. Three guitars and a drummer. So much fun.

  • “I don’t like being a band leader I’m not very good at that” says the greatest contemporary band leader

  • Not my music but I totally get what Vai is saying in terms of it having a certain appeal on a level that bypasses the pure musician side of things – still doesn't win me over when it comes to this music though haha. Either way, I'm happy for Belew and everyone else involved that they made it happen for themselves and certainly for the fans of this music; seems like a labor of love ????

  • Saw the added San Jose date. Concert of a lifetime. Also I saw the Berkeley High School show Crimson opening for Tool 2001. When Fripp did Reflection…it's honestly what made me understand Tool.

  • What a great mini documentary about some great musicians making great music together! Definitely wish Danny could have made it, but he's a busy guy. The love these guys have for each other and the music is so inspiring. Just all around great human beings!

  • I am so grateful that my brother Eric and I got to see BEAT twice on their NA tour last year. We saw them in Milwaukee and then back home St. Louis! Two shows that I will never forget. Thank you BEAT

  • Not sure of the time this interview was shot, but some of the crowd rushed the show in San Antonio (22:43). I had run down there with my girlfriend and we had a blast dancing and moving! Such an amazing show and we would see it 3 more times.

  • God I hope we see more from these guys. This is too special to leave behind in 2024.

  • The dancing anecdote happened in Vancouver! It was an amazing show, with amazing musicians but most importantly amazing human beings overall ❤

  • My youngest son & I drove 2 1/2 hours in a snowstorm in CO to see this show. He's been into Thela Hun Gingeet & Elephant Talk since he was 10. Has good taste like his father.???? Great show & a special night for both of us.

  • Easily the best show I seen in `24. I only wish I could have seen them a few times. 3 nights would have been the sweet spot for me.

  • Now that this tour is over I think it was a success. Vai, no longer has to apologize for not being Fripp. Vai and Carey gave this music a new energy. Belew re-constructed his gear and these tunes with the attention of a musicologist and Levin; well, he continues to visit our planet and grace us with his genius.

  • "The Book"… the King Crimson Discipline Scorebook put out by Trey Gunn's record label 7D Media. on behalf of the label, I was the one who sent Steve the book a year before this was even announced. We also sent them to Danny.

  • I really hope they came to Brazil for a rehearsal. Always wanted to watch a live performance of those albuns that I love since I was a teen. Even without the presence of Fripp and Bill, Adrian chose the best names to their places, such a lovely crew. Everyone who has the chance to see a live performance of them should do it with any regrets.

  • 3:47 Vai dressed for the occasion ???????????????? He learned me a new name or music I tend to like: 'High-information music' ???? And love how they talk about re-interpreting KC's music while respecting the original intent of it – it's great to see pros (musicians in this case) take so much pride in their job, and the lucky privilege for us to enjoy!

  • I have heard 4 or 5 performances of Dig Me since the record. From the start I've always thought it was a really great idea but for some reason it didn't seem to really work the way it was being presented. Like it wasn't worked in, or something. I saw BEAT in Las Vegas in November. Welmp…. they really, really nailed it. They found the sonic and spirited pocket in which that song lives. It was everything my meager imagination could never have dreamed of. But it was right. I'm so happy I got to see these great players playing these songs.

PS Tony Levin is an absolute beast.
