The Half Pint was designed to be the most versatile low wattage amplifier possible. Reverb and tremolo and Class A single ended breakup are just the start of what this little amp can do. With the onboard voltage controlled power scaling, you can turn this amp up to 10 and dial it back to just a fraction of a watt so that your fun zone is volume appropriate for just about anywhere.
This amp is comfortable on stage, in studio, and at home. Because of the variable power, you can set it how you like and adjust the power level for the room.

Then seems when I want to scale up the volume of this amazing sound, I can just add a Fryette Power Station and amplify the tone. What I want to do now is to get the best sound in the room with me when I practice at low volume. Thanks for this demo!
In all honesty these amps are way overpriced. A real boutique product and I had creamer once here in my studio. It was with reverb on quite noisy. I would keep my powder dry and spend it somewhere else.
That jam was pure goodness and exactly what my head needed. ✌️????????
So is it a vibro champ with a larger speaker?
Does this do 5E3 tones?
another great review…….
Great channel….real quality. Can I ask about your intro, is it your own work ?
Who can justify almost $3000.00 for a 5watt amp…
Are you using any pedals or is that all amp?
What’s the difference between half pint vs pint besides the wattage?
Slam the front with any boost, especially with some low frequency boost not just treble (from an EQ with gain or octave/pog pedal, etc). Things go insane with silky tube compressed liquid harmonic fuzz that cuts but stops on a dime. Love Class A amps, the Milkman is true to form.
What type of speaker is in that amp? I believe that Milkman offers a few different speaker options, so I’m curious how the different speakers affect the sound. Thanks!
I spent thousands over the years on a long series of "affordable" amps that were going to be "good enough" somehow, never achieving the tone I was looking for, at the low volumes I need. I also spent hundreds of $ on reverb and tremolo pedals for my dream sound, which remained elusive. In my mid 50s, I finally spent the small fortune on the Half Pint, and I never looked back. This thing is not cheap, but I really wished I had pulled the trigger years and years ago. If you need that rootsy tweed thing with tube trem and spring reverb for recording at reasonable volume, this is the one.
Is this a take on a fender 65 Princeton
Could you gig with one (i.e. in terms of volume/headroom)? Thanks!!
I think you just found my new amp. Features sounds perfect for home use. Hope it will also be available in EU. Nice demo dude!
Lovely amp and video as well!
Hey Ryan,
Great demo as always.
It would be great you build us Blues lessons (if you want to). Your sound is… just ????
Great jam at the beginning!
Not enough o's in smooooooth. Superb review of a gorgeous piece of kit. Thanks man.
Would love to see a shootout with this versus a Benson Vinny Reverb combo (if you can get your hands on one that is). I personally love low wattage amps (1-15 watts) with built in attenuation. Great video. Keep them coming.
It has those big city studio sounds with a little bit of West Memphis hookers on a Friday night.
I bought one three years ago. It’s a great practice amp built with the best stuff available big thumps up
Sounds great! I need a small amp
