  • I am DIGGING(!) your board! Many of the same pedals as me and I'm looking to integrate my PirateMIDI bridge6, just like you've done your morningstar. I have a similar size board with pedals that do the same kinda function as you. I'd say the thing that's different in soundscape is the microcosm and Friedman BE-0D for distortion and metal possibility. I'd be very interested in some help with my board. I'll list my pedals also with singnalchain:

    Xotic Wah->JHS FUZZ series 3->EHX pitchfork+->Strymon Compardre->Walrus Audio Warhorn/Ages combo->Xotic SL drive->

    Friedman BE-OD->JHS Muffaletta->OBNE Reflector V3-> Walrus audio M1->Alexander pedals Rewind->Strymon Timeline->Strymon Big Sky-> Hologram Microcosm

    I'm thinking about replacing the two JHS fuzzes with the walrus audio eons and finding a smaller reverb than the big sky. Looking to integrate these pedals for the main big pedalboard with midi, and having a Nano+ og metro max size pedalboard for the small and easygoing rig

    Looking forward for you feedback

  • What do you use for the dream and ruby phase issues? Great rundown man enjoyed the video!

  • Nice board and really well thought out!
    Since you opted for an amp section separate from your board, do you carry the amp section board, pedalboard and guitar to church every time? If you leave the amp section board at church, do you keep a set of UA Dream and Ruby at home for practice?

  • Bro loving the set up!! Any chance you may have encountered glitches/delay when switching from drive to drive?

    E.G: like if you're in a verse and going into a chorus and switch to a heavier drive type of scenario.

    If so how do/did you work around it? I too run my drives through a ML5, but when i switch drives via midi controller, there is the slightest glitch (noticeable).

    Hope to hear from you!! God bless and keep up the great work man, it's sick!

  • Hey Ely! Just curious if the 1981 DRV pairs better with single-coil or humbucker guitars, or does it sound great with any guitar? Outside of the Gretsch, I've seen you play a Duesenberg, Strat, and Telecaster in your other videos. Just curious how the DRV stacks up with each one or if any of those guitars make it stand out over the others?
