The DigiTech Hammer On can deliver absolute pitch-shifting madness
DigiTech’s pitch-shifting technology has worked its way into yet another dive-bombing tool, but this time you have even more tools at your disposal.
Perhaps our pick of the bunch would be the addition of the sequencer. You can sequence patterns of up to five for even more pitched craziness. The speed in which the sequences can be played can be turned up high enough to sound almost chiptune-like, whilst slowing things down will deliver more recognisable arpeggios.
There are two octaves up and two octaves down to choose from and the pedal also features a lift option, much like the Drop pedal, but in the other direction. Switching from one octave to another can be ramped, much like the Ricochet, or instantaneously.
Hammer On is coming soon and is expected to hit stores around late February, or early March for $279.

Matching shoes?
Good lord…is he 12 years old?
I gotta rethink this gadget now…his enthusiasm MIGHT be pretty elementary.
basically the belew impossible pedal?
DigiTech makes the coolest stuff!! I really love my Trio +
Love the shoes!
Where can I get those Shoes?? they're much more interesting than this pedal which has no novelty
The pitch algorithm is the SAME from 10 years ago before Digitech was sold to Harman and now that zombie brand is part of Cort, this is a cash grab for whatever is left of this idea and actually the Whammy Ricochet was much better because it has more control and has both "vintage" (original whammy) and "modern" pitch algorithms, the sequence thing can be easily done and more precise with any DAW or MIDI control, the engineers who design this pedal work now for Line 6 and their PolyCapo module that is included in ALL Helix products is the best version of this whammy idea
I'm so happy Digitech is back! Hope they help me to fix my whammy ????
Wow when you increase the temp, it kind of sounds like a vintage Echoflanger/Polyflange/Polychorus!
I saw this pedal and thought, who needs this just for hammer ons? But it def has the ability to do more, I'm thinking spaced out Johnny Greenwood stuff!
This pedal is stupid.
Hats off to DT for making fun pedals rather than the same old same old.
Does it have a mix knob
This might be a peddle for Steve Stevens.
Digitech makes some really unique pedals that are actually useful if you can master them
They need to get hooked up with this guy for a true demo.

Johnny Greenwood would love this pedal????
I started creating this same pedal a few years ago with a chip for making custom pedals and programming. I have been looking for a pedal like this for so long!
The Whammy DT has a hammer on function as well and can go + and – in pitch. If you own a sequencer like the electron digitakt you can do even more complex pitch sequencing with any whammy pedal using parameter lock on the digitakt to send pc messages via midi to the whammy.
I have no need for this but love pedal makers trying to make new innovative ideas.
I like the fart pedal better.
0:46 what the hell lol
stupid product. Make a commercial with Tom Morello playing some crazy shit and it will sell like water in the desert!
I hate to say it but this thing kinda sounds bad lol
Jeez..really ???
Arpegiator?
Like Auto Riff in Boss GT
Better than fart pedal..
I am way too into melodic playing for this nonsensical pedal to interest me,lol.
Cool, a bagpipe pedal.
Just add a speed control to the wammy pedal?
Boss had a similar effect years ago????
What a shit product lol
I think this a cool idea. A momentary pitch shift has the potential to be really cool if used properly.
is him having one foot in a cast some kind of metaphor for this?
Up to how many semitones does it go up?
I'm curious what they will pull off next
This thing is NUTS! Haha AWESOME.
This shouldn’t exist but I want it
This pedal is silly.
I want an rp-2025 !
I hope someone gets to make music from that pedal????
I don't know man. there's other pedals that do this type of thing for cheaper.
