  • Does the hi pass on your Colour Box not give you a weird snapping clipping sound? Mine does and a few others have said the same but it may behave differently with different pickup outputs and such. For me the high pass is pretty unusable because of the harsh clipping, but i LOVE the pedal apart from that. I was just surprised to see the hi pass work for you so well

  • This is really cool, I love hearing your thought process. What amp are you using!

  • This is the kind of board I like. Helps to focus on playing and creating. Providing many sonic options without too much distraction.

  • My signal path atm:

    – TU-3w (tuner)
    – Em-Drive (boost)
    – Odr-1 (main drive)
    – Count to Five (micro looper/delay)
    – Dunlop DVP4 (volume pedal) (need a vertext boost because the pedal is crackling xO)
    – Emperor v2 (chorus/vibrato)
    – Lucky cat (mono delay)
    – DD-200 (stereo delay)
    – RV-5 (stereo reverb) (still incredible pedal I think)

Love what this board can do and it is quite small actually, even tho it might seem like a lot of pedals.

If I ever upgrade to a bigger board I would like to upgrade to a RV-200 & put on there a DL4 mkii (mainly for the looping part)

  • I want to start getting pedals for my bass. What would you recommend as a good first pedal? I like lots of music so something versatile maybe? ????

  • Sooo tempted by that Color Box. I heard it described as a way to get that DI sound live, seems great for clarity.

I’ve seen you mention the Zoom MultiStomp in previous videos- any reason why that doesn’t make the cut anymore? It’s on my board rn in place of a dedicated EQ, but also use it as a tuner, octaver, and auto wah. It’s definitely harder to dial in tones with it though.
