NEW Glarry Acoustic Bass

This is the new Glarry Acoustic Bass. They did a good job on this one: https://bit.ly/3RFLf5f Watch the full video for info, how it sounds, and a little demo of how the 15 watt amp sounds that comes with the combo package. Check back for updates on how the gear is holding up over time.

  • That sounds good. Most of the reviews on this particular bass dont have much sound quality or atleast decent. This video has the best sound Ive heard and is the only bideo that has helped me make up my mind to purchase it.

  • I had assumed it was smaller scale than standard. I can also remember from literally 30 years ago how shocking it is when you hear most acoustic basses; they don't have the amount of volume and projection most of us initially expect and it's majority of them regardless of design and woods used. I still love the bass and ultimately, I don't want to have to always fiddle with my halfstack to snatch one of my basses up and just play.

I'm on the fence but will surely pull the trigger anyway. I'm primarily a symphonic shred-n-sweep style guitarist and have some really exotic guitars including a 10-string bass which is ultimately a 34" scale hybrid instrument; 5 guitar strings, 5 bass.
They're a lot of fun to play and there's a lot of carryover to traditional 6 string even for shred.

  • Sweet, glad to hear it’s a good budget option. I just started learning guitar and want to learn bass and ukelele at the same time.

  • This is the best and certainly the clearest sounding acoustic bass I’ve come across on a YT demo.

  • I was concentrating on the Ibanez acoustic bass but now after watching both reviews, the Glarry might be a better option for me. Still, I want to play both in the store before I make a decision. There is no rush. I already have a bass for each hand to practice. Thx for both detailed reviews.

  • I've been wanting to get another acoustic bass. The body on mine is just too bulky and uncomfortable. Problem is, I ordered a Glarry electric bass years ago and it was complete junk. That thing was terrible. Don't know if I really want to try them again.
