Nice list! But You left off the Sterling Mariposa. While I actually own the MM version, the Sterling version is very close the MM model and has the same unique shape, feel & sound. And the Sterling Albert Lee is unique as well.
Bruh. Quit working so hard. Just add a dang kill switch like Buckethead. He's been stuttering since before Tom, anyway.
I wonder if Tom has ever truly thought about the "arm the homeless" mantra or its just part of his adolescent edgy image.
Respect to everyone in the video. However…I'm really surprised Joe Bonamassa isn't on this list….. His 58-60 LP's, 50's Tele's and Strats are kinda ????????????!!!
Dude saying no Qaddafi’s no terrible people is one of the most ignorant things to say. If you want that guitar you play to whoever wants to see you. Good grief
Just as I was just watching the rig rundown of Steve Morse, Deep Purple announced Simon McBride as their guitarist. Best of luck and thanks Steve for the music ????????????
Höfner is german and built no copies. What they are talking.
Tom plays under the chinn.
a mortality test for a toggle? give it to Morello.
man he must go through toggles every other show. lol
Funny….all of Angus Youngs guitars have the bridge on backwards.
Does Edge's guitar tech remind anybody of Dennis Hopper's character from Apocalypse Now?
Excellent Video !
have you done the SCORPIONS ????yet?
I am still after all these years speechless watching Tom Morello use the selector switch while rubbing his strings to sound like a DJ scratching. I have heard guitarists use their pick-up selector like a kill switch to have a studder type effect. NEVER have I heard anyone do what Tom does. Van Halen is credited with tapping.. Tom needs to be recognized for that scratching effect. Facts
Brian May is such a class act, a true gentleman.
Hey Peter What would be cool is if you paid it forward and GAVE someone the guitar just like yours was given to you ..My hands up..I'd be GLAD to take it off your hands …
Ikonic junk.
I never get tired of Brian talking about Red Special, and the fact that he and his dad were one-off luthiers. One guitar and that's it. Mind-blowing! There was nothing with a body that size back then either. More like a PRS.
So what was fueling RATMS angst was a lack of cocaine, which they've certainly rectified now by the looks of things.
Nice ventrilaquizm at the end there. Another talent. lol.
Is Brian May the coolest dude or what?!
At 47:20 Brian May guitar has a zerow fret and a no buttom , horizontal alignement nut. Verry clever. Roller bridge, lucking tuners, perfect , exept for the headstock. A Fender style would have been even better.
I dont think the discolouration is about a price tag hanging there. It would have taking like 5 years , in a window to that kind of damaged. If this guitar has that super tone…that guitar would have been gone in a heart beat. Funny that he has an other Les Paul on the floor, with the same red spot.
Morello now rages WITH the machine.
I was never a super huge Frampton follower but after watching his entire rig rundown I have such a new respect for him. First of all he did his own rundown rather than a tech that works for him, but even more so than that he seems like the most down to earth genuine human being that I’ve ever seen on one of these. Being a rockstar hasn’t went to his head at all he just seems like a great guy. I wish he was my neighbor lol. Rock on Peter!
