  • I thought Defying Gravity was going to be my no.1 fav of the songs from this movie but as soon as I heard this one, I quickly put this as my no.1. This song made me went from feeling sorry for her to rooting for her no matter what. And I completely agree with you, the 1st time I heard it I can already hear the bittersweet, hopeful nature of this song. It makes total sense when you said Cynthia was really good at showcasing Elphaba's two sides in this song. Thank you for the impeccable explanation ❤️

  • THIS is the ending riff that gets me every time, and Cynthia puts in that bit of 'cry' dropping into the last note that hits SO hard! ????????❤

  • Hi Tristan. Sorry to bother you again. Corvyx has just covered No Good Deed along with My Heart will go on and many many others, all in the original key or higher. Do check him out he’s absolutely incredible.

  • You have to take into account they sang live…the fact there is such minimal correction is AMAZING…(and expected). no reason to ask why they did it unless you understand the environmental variables they dealt with on set – and that goes way beyond just understanding if someone is singing great ????
