I bought Sonicake Pocket Master updated new firmware. downloaded NAM files but Windows Sonicake Manager application constantly gives download error. Files downloaded correctly but constant error. Windows 10 laptop. error "import timeout"
I'm thinking about getting one of these and velcroing it to the back of my Spark MINI. The MINI sounds pretty good, but it's limited and has a pretty serious flaw when using higher gain presets without a noise gate. There's a reverse gate sound that happens when using patches like Crazy Crue without the noise gate.
Are you running SonicLink on a laptop? Is there a Windows version?
i wish they update the firmware to make the usb C compatible to midi controller

How does the unit feel ? Dynamic response etc???? Does it feel digital to play or is it good enough like zoom pedal etc ?
You can not use any custom IRs when using a nam capture, that is why it is disabled, that is why you need to download files with the IR included

I would like a proper floor unit with NAM reasonably prices. This unit IMHO does not server any particular goal: for recording I can use NAM plugins, for shows it's too small to operate, for backstage practice NAM captures are not necessary, but a click is necessary.
Another great review. I’m having trouble installing the firmware update on a MacBook Air. Error msg states ‘unsupported file format.’ I notice you have a Mac, how did you do it, please?
Im running two together and that is the way to go. That way you can run DI captures and run the IR on the second unit. Its also alot more functional this way. Set up wet fx on the second unit like scenes with the presets. Plus having two you basically have an FX loop between them. I have a vol pedal placed here.
