  • This is one of the best demos I've ever seen in how to use gear! Rudy is such a lovely guy but also a great talent and to hear him play bass through the Spark 40 is fabulous.
Btw, I just received my Spark 2 (Aug-24) and was searching for some info on using it to play bass, as well as guitar, and this is very timely and just what I need 🙂
    Cheers Rudy!

  • Rudy, your Cuban blood has allowed you to remain mentally sharp and enthusiastic at your age. Real pleasure to take in your Spark presentation. Than you Sir !

  • Turn on your radio, wait for a song to come on you like and learn it. Things have come way too easy for today’s musicians. Everybody’s a fkg rock star two days later. Just play.

  • What's that first bass that Rudy is using? Looks like a Warwick but headstock makes me think it's not. Cool vid by the way. EDIT: Found it. His signature Spector.

  • Granted. I am 20 years younger than Rudy, but, I sincerely wish I would have had something like this bwack when I was learning to play. Would have been heaven as opposed to wearing out countless cassette tapes to nail yhat one riff.

  • Junk… I’ve got one. All you need is a Karaoke track… this Amp has got a lot of bells and whistles but it’s not really a Jam Along. Not for Bass anyways…

  • Cool review! There are plenty for guitar, so it's great to see an in-depth review for bass. Going on vacation with my Spark soon so can't wait to check out all these killer features. Thank you.

  • It's a great review for all the bassists using Spark. Could you possibly make another video clip about some suggestions of bass tones or examples in the cloud? For me it's still difficult to find a good bass tones for finger picking, slap… or jazz, blues, etc.

  • Purchase my November 17, 2020 and it arrived three days ago, Nov 25, 2020. I am a guitar player and had no interest in playing guitar through it. Ordered mine in order to silently practice bass with headphones and stream my TrueFire lessons through the same headphones. I’m a total beginner on the bass. And I knew the bass presets were limited but I only needed one or two usable tones in order to practice. I was pleasantly surprised with how pleasing the bass tones were. But I was underwhelmed with the guitar tones out of the box. Starting building my own tones from scratch and now I’m a believer! Can’t wait to really dive in and get more versed in the finer points of what the Spark can do!

  • I'm still hesitating because I've heard it has a gazillion amps and effects for guitar, but almost none for bass.
