What Makes These Two Telecasters COMPLETELY Different?
????My first attempt at “The Geeky Stuff” with these Tease Telecaster Style Guitars. Let me know how it went. ????????
????So Back at Christmas time I did a video asking everyone what guitar specs they’d like to be covered in a demo. Here is the answer to that, in a bit of Phil McKnight-esq type thing.
????Obviously he does it much better but let me know what you like, what could be done better. I know I didn’t cover the super basics because those are in the videos you’ve already seen. If You have checked them out then look down below for LinkS

About Searching For Tone:
I’m Brian Lena a retired New York City Firefighter, and music enthusiast. I love helping people learn things that may seem difficult instructing beginner and veteran firefighters for 15 years. I’d like to bring that into the guitar community, and help us all get better. I myself am what I refer to as an “old beginner,” picking up the guitar again after decades of on/off playing. On the channel you can find tutorials on techniques, tips, and tricks. There are reviews/demos of guitars, amps, mics, pedals, learning platforms, accessories, and more.
Everything you’ve wanted to learn about playing can be found right here on this channel!
I try to respond to your comments & questions as quick as possible????

The Fretboard was rolled on the HD as opposed to the straight cut on the E series – This was done to get the frets all the way to the ends.
Nice !!
Cool vid! Also those bridge pickups are pretty cool! ????
I really love the colors on both of them. The green one is really calling me. I'm trying to not buy more guitars right now, but you have me almost caving in.
????
I like the green one… But I would want it in a butterscotch color better
SFT reaches the spec milestone, I love it Brian. Thanks for the review of these, I prefer the green one for the extras, I really like the color of the HD but I went with a green one as well. Nice guitars Torsten and Co. are offering. Thanks again brother.
Excellent deep dive!
You guys and these teles. I do kinda like the blue one.
B????th nice
Great overview Brian – I happen to like them both, but appreciate the upgrades that Torsten added to the SBH-E series. Especially the swimming pool route if you wanted to make your own Nashville Tele. Definitely eyeballing the purple SBH-E at some point in my future.
Bridge pickups are hot.i dig the reporting of the first /12th fret neck depth.????
So many things I wish my Player 1 had.
Very Cool, Thankyo Briuan. Very thorough comprehensive deep dive. Awesome. All the best. Cheers
Interesting. Thanks Brian.
Nice video with specs, maybe you could also add neck depth at the 1st and 12th Fret. Like them both!!
When measuring the pickup height, I find the distance from the strings to be more informative than the height off the pickguard.
I know the difference! One is green and one is blue. Haha just kidding.
Great video! I look forward to checking out @TeaseGuitars! I'm always interested in quality, affordable riffin' machines!
I don't take it easy, I play the SNOT out of whatever I test the same as I would onstage, using all the tricks I've learned in 40 years as a player and fan. Remember the old Ford truck commercials? Yeah. That. On a guitar. ????
I mean, ya gotta KNOW if it's gonna take what someone will give it, right?????
Keep up the great work, man! World units of measure are imperative, and you know that in Upstate New York. ????????????????????????
I like them both but the newer model gives you many options
It’s fun to see both guitars side by side! Loving the tools too! Btw, why is the swimming pool route so wide and weirdly shaped? What am I missing about that when a humbucker isn’t so wide and weirdly shaped, lol? I would think a 3×5” rectangle would make sense — what’s the deal?!
Thanks for wearing the shirt for the geeky video! There a lot of little details that would lean me towards the Envy. The route, string trees, contours, switch and pots… All seem to be a plus over the blue HD. Great job on the bench! Isn't it funny how much video there is to sort through after those bits? Funny may be a poor word choice… Cheers, brother!
great comparison bro!
im liking that larger route so in case you need under the scratchplate for whatever reason you wont need to remove the neck…which is possible for the blue model being the fingerboard jutts out over the plate…
monoprice used to have that issue til they made a humbucker route in the neck section…
id love to see an unbiased compare/play between a tease tele and the breeze series fesley tele models…
maybe we can talk trey and sean to do one as trey has a tease tele and sean has the fesley model tele?
Very cool. Much better made that the Squier Debut Tele! LOL
Nice, dude. Real nice.
Boob cut!
Great tear down and review of both guitars, man. Love these super deep detailed video styles.
The specs look a bit better on the green one, but I really prefer the other color. Not a fan of green guitars in general. Good job Brian!
Will you be filing/adjusting the nut slots after measuring them?
"Know Your Tease". The green one looks better in my opinion.
Great first video with specs!! Having both metric and english measurements is a must. You can see they use better pots & switch. I think you missed the weight on the geeen one. Keep a check list and your videos will be consistent. String gage may be all i would add. 9's or 10's with what size low E.
1:56 Did you buy this? Surprising! The hardware of this guitar is surprisingly good.
Wow that cool and different thanks! Nice to see the inside dont look like a GLARRY..????the green one is you!
Love the geekiness of this ❤
I would open both of these guitars up upon arrival and shield the control cavities and the pick-up cavities.
Also, I would check the neck relief with it strung up, to see how much the neck moves under tension.
I like the Blue one better, but that's just a color preference.
Good video Brian!
Keep 'em coming.
I just happen to have the same tools for setting up my guitars. I’m glad you decided to do a deep dive into what makes these 2 Tease guitars different. I’m literally wanting a Tease so bad that I have been contemplating on selling one of my Dimebag guitars, but it’s a struggle for me to let go. These guitars are definitely worth buying and Torsten is doing a really great job with his brand. I’d be willing to pay the extra $50 for the guitar to be set up. It’s gonna save people time and money for that kind of thing. If one doesn’t get it set up then expect GC to charge you an arm and a leg just for a set up lol ????! I ❤ the blue silverburst and the green one is starting to grow on me too. I’m hoping to get a Tease sometime this year but only my finances will determine whether I can or not?! Thanks for the deep dive brother Brian. I’m very appreciative for your time and consideration for us. You are a genuinely great friend to everyone and until next time mate…. Stay safe, Stay metal, and don’t forget to Riff.?!????????????????????????⭐️????????????????????????????????Ps. I think that with Torsten is going to make a difference for the guitar community and sells a whole bunch more of these awesomely spec’d out Axes!!
Geeky but I like it
I see you went for all of the cool Stew Mac gauges ????
