This comment section is full of my people – The 1975 sound / gear geeks.
What does a compressor do? Makes ot sound more professional??
Using the JC40’s chorus but only mic’ing one speaker doesn’t work. We’re not hearing what he’s hearing.
this dudes a combination of phil x and Russell brand
Freaking love this guy. Great personality!
Simple. Thank you for this
I’ve been dreaming of this video, mind blown
No "epic" guitar riffs in the guitar hero sense, but damn those Matty's funky lines really make it phenomenal.
I love unashamedly a stan you are
Should do a deeper dive on Adam Hann's setup!
they're using different guitars in the start of i like it when you sleep but the same pickups and amp. and they're using kemper in the start of a brief inquiry.
Lovely !
I don't know if Dagan either loves The 1975 or if he's done his research or both, but he's done a cracking job. It's worth mentioning as well that they like to use P90's quite a bit i.e. Fano's, LP Junior. Again, great job!!
The Klon pedal Matty used to use was a Rim Rock Mythical Overdrive, on their tours now he uses a Hamstead Odyssey for most overdrive sounds, and for guitar solos on their newer stuff he uses a fuzz factory. Great Video!
After “ABIIOR” they switched to all kempers!
Your video is so informative. I am a huge fan of the band and has been looking for those infos everywhere, they were no where to be found. Thank you. Thanks to you I will be able to play the guitar as I wish. Keep going ! I hope you get more follower and views, you more than deserve it. Your love for guitars, music and the respect for the band is undeniable. Cheers mate
Hann's tip is to put a klon centaur on every clean part for mid boost
I normally have an instant dislike for most geordies as a rule ( due to an absolute weapon of a lad from when I was in uni ) but Dagan is the only reason I subscribe and keep coming back. Loved his lockdown series of videos from his man cave . What a dude !
