Joyo Cab Box. A really brilliant stand in for your power amp, cab and mic. And it can load IRs.

Hey all.

This is my third Pedal Demo for Joyo. So thanks to them for sending this out to me.

The Cab Box is Joyo’s solution for pairing with a preamp to give you all the power amp simulation, cab simulation, Power amp sim and mic simulation you need to get great guitar sounds live and in the studio. And it really does work in this role.

It has extensive ins and outs including an XLR Di output with a ground lift for the desk or interface, a thru for running an unaltered sound to a cab (best in the effects loop of your head or combo), a headphones out and most importantly it has a MIDI in allowing you to select what power amp, cab and mic you want to run with which ever channel your preamp is running (If it has MIDI)

Lastly and most importantly it sounds great and has all the controls you need to dial in your sound right on the front panel. Pair that with the capacity to load IRs and it really is a simple and effective solution to pair with your amp for recording or going direct at a gig.
