The idea of thinking about a minor chord like you showed as the spacing between the bottom and top notes seems silly when the difference is really a white key vs a black key as the middle note (third).
This shift takes the third from a natural or sharp note to a flat note.
Or, seen another way, it’s a move from a white key to a black key on the keyboard (in this example).
But to explain it by the space between is very weird and doesn’t help anyone.
I know we’re trying to dumb things down for people, but; they understand black and white keys. Surely.
You’d kill it in FL piano roll. Switched from logic and it’s so much easier and faster to put down melodies and chords
broski there's some really useful knowledge here, but the way you play the c minor scale on the piano is straight up terrible and I'm not saying it to hate, it just makes your playing much less fluent.
Look up some videos on youtube about piano fingering, it will take 30 minutes and improve your playing massively

Dope! How did you manage to use the V collection for the mastery pack if their instruments are under their intellectual property clause? I want to dabble in making a sample pack as well, but I'm struggling to find a good set of virtual instruments. I was going to go nuts with some Kontact and Arturia instruments as well, but always felt iffy about that with how dramatic their EULAs are. Akai be on that BS too, or I'd be all over their mellotron -.- Thoughts?
