  • Hello. Simplifying and making a long story short: I need to play along a track sent from my Win PC and I absolutely don’t want to route the guitar signal outside the Tonex pedal (so I should keep it in live mode, not in interface mode). Is that possible? Thanks

  • Hello,
I would like to use TONEX pedal with a small Windows tablet that has no enough power to do any audio processing and even with ASIO driver latency would be too high so I would like to keep the TONEX pedal il LIVE mode in order to have responsiveness for the guitar processed signal but need to play a backing track from PC at the same: is it possible to send it via USB recognizing the pedal as an audio out interface (ASIO are not needed and a standard driver could be enough, in this case latency will not be an issue since I need only an output channel and no inputs since there’s no need to record or process). It seems that the little brother TONEX one has the ability (in documentation is cited the “play along” feature that doesn’t require to put the pedal in “interface mode/disabling the direct monitor” and this seems to be possible with smartphones as well) and it would be curious if it has an option not supported by its bigger brother.

    Many thanks, regards

  • Hello, great playing! A question: is it possible to listen from Tonex PEDAL an audio backtrack sent from Windows PC when in LIVE mode (not INTERFACE)? (a sort of direct monitor while playing the backtrack)

  • Since you have close contacts with IK Multimedia, suggest that in a next update, they make more reverb and delay options available. they already have the algorithm ready in X-space, X-vibe etc. Just make it available to tonex

  • I am afraid to buy the Tone X pedal again . I purchased the "Anniversary Model " that came loaded with the 150 (So Called premium) Captures. I took an entire days playing through all of the captures in it and almost all of them sounded very harsh to me compared to the MBritt Profile sounds on my Kemper. I got so flustered , I decided to just return it for a refund. I was hoping not to have to do hours and days of adjustments just to get 5 or 6 useable sounds. Maybe it is just me. I am willing to give out another try .

  • The Tonex 1.8 software will go down in history as the Greatest Botched Software rollout of all time.
One of the great betrayals of Version 1.8 was that anybody sponsored by Tonex were afraid to say
that Version 1.8 was a Secret Disaster in Progress. But nobody could talk about it on YouTube.
I watched every video on YouTube trying to get Tonex Software 1.8 to work.
After struggling with their Software for 5 months with no functionality at all.
I am glad to hear they are delaying the New Vaporware to Version 1.9.EFF them all to heck.
I will believe it when I see it.

  • How do you lock the speaker cab IR, it looks like they have removed the padlock – which was an easy way to lock the cabinet!

  • Excellent video, as always! It would be very interesting if it were possible to choose the function of the 3 Tonex One knobs when the ALT switch is activated. For example, to be able to adjust the delay mix or chorus rate, instead of using GATE or COMP as it is today.

  • The way to take advantage of the changes will be to create user folders of every amp capture pack you own, create one single preset for that amp capture pack, load it, and then adjust the ToneX Parameters and switch out tone models within that amps capture pack folder, without ever leaving that single preset. This will be much closer to the real experience of playing an amp and/or a modeled amp sim like Fractal or QC
