  • Day 3 of asking for the Best Neck Pickup Shootout so we can hear Nathanial play only neck pickups for an entire video. <3
(personal request, full version of Fly Me To the Moon like he teased us with on the P-90 Les Paul Gold Top)

Incredible video by the way. I love your content. I've heard some of the most stunning sounding guitars and amps here and I'm so incredibly grateful for you sharing this us with us. I look forward to the day that I make the trip down from Canada to make a purchase at your store.

  • Tell Nathaniel I said he's gonna lose some pounds! ???? Greetings from Barbados! ????????

  • I wish the JTM got played clean. They are fantastic when set for clean. For a do it all in one amp, the JTM does it for me. The Hiwatt did have some really nice cleans.

  • Someone please explain why the old stuff sounds so much better than today’s gear?

  • Great as always.

Suggestion for video themes: different decades (60s, 70, … 20s) or the same style of guitar (e.g., Strat, LP) over different decades. I think it is cool to see how things evolve.

  • The thunderbolt probably would sound sweet if you didn’t turn the volume knob too far past the sweet spot.
Even Every great amp will sound bad if you don’t know how to dial it in..

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do that Peavey full stack!!! we are fed up of that "censored" amp showed on the end of the video.

  • At 34.40 you walked past what looked to be a Blonde Twin… there’s hardly any footage I can find of what they really sound like cranked – any chance you can push it to the limit?

  • i learned a long time ago to not use amp handles. no use taking the chance of dropping a valuable amp. if you can't carry it, use a dolly!

  • Great video….
Glad to see & hear Nathaniel
    back at it~~HooRay!! ✨️✨️✨️
    Sang in a Rock~n~Roll band
    back in 1977-1978.
    Guitar player#1 had HiWatt….
    Guitar player#2 had Marshall stack….
Loudest band I ever sang in,
    on stage volume was crazy….????
    Loved it????
    ps….Still have 100% hearing ????

  • Would be nice to get more room mic blended in there for a closer representation of the amp sound you guys heard

  • OK. You've definitely become my favourite electric guitarist. Your incredible facility to cover so many genres so effectively is astonishing.

  • I know this has nothing to do with the video but how/what did you practice to get this good? did you just learn songs or have a practice regime you could share? Cheers brother, really good playing

  • 30:20 Was SO waiting for Nathaniel to play only ONE guy on a 66-67 HiWatt, and that WASN'T him! (Hint: An SG woulda put the cherry on.)

    Reply
  • The Hiwatt with some reverb was amazing – that would be my pick of the day.

  • Great playing Nathaniel. Your playing is what makes those amps and guitars sound insane. Umm…. those "silly licks" are ridiculous. I mean that in the best way possible.

    Reply
  • just Marshall, always worked forget the others, definitely not fender, extremely unreliable

  • That first authentically vintage 1953 tele was $62k…I wouldn’t spend that much on a car!!!
    Or a house!…

But it makes complete sense to buy that tele and live in a junker car…????

    Reply
  • I really, really have been loving these series.
Nate you're a phenomenal player thanks for the constant inspiration

    Reply
  • LOVE a tweed twin. I own a victoria 45410 (custom by them with a 212 and on board spring reverb).. the result is in the tweed twin realm with verb. Desert island amp for me with a tele
