Sick axe, bro! I like the look of the flat top on the Dinky vs. the Soloist's archtop. I would prefer a neck-thru over a bolt-on for Jackson U.S.A. custom shop money. However, I get your point of wanting to switch between scalloped and unscalloped necks. I'd prefer to seek out a 1984 Soloist made in the San Dimas, California shop. I'm not a touring artist, so my needs are extravagant, lol. Rock on m/
