Anybody catch what he said?
very clear thanks
Man what drugs is that guy on ???????? thanks for a waste of time watching that
I like your shirt and I would like one of my own. Size M in male or unisex, thx, bro. ????????
These videos are great. I would wager most people I know but used equipment and therefore we don’t ever have instructions for anything so a lot of what I know is just what “some dude told me” …
Perfectly explained, thanks!
Very thankfull for the extra tidbits
this guy speaks faster than the light.
I'm sure i'll understand. Give me 20 more years
So you use pedals like noise gate and tubescreamer / overdrive before the distorted amp in a chain and then effects like reverb, chorus and delay after the amp in the chain / effecs loop area ? Or do you use tubescreamer/over drive after the amp too ? I see a lot of people using Noise gate before the amp in a chain or guitar into noise gate before amp on a real amp, is this not the correct or best way ?
Thanks for the break down. It helped
Could i connect a Treble Booster to effects loop?
I learned things. Thank you.
What about volume control? I’ve noticed when going this router I loose total control of my volume.
Depending on the number of transistors in your fuzz pedal of choice, it may play substantially worse in the amp input than it does in the fx loop. I find using amp distortion and certain fuzz pedals into the in just turns it to saturated mud
Love the video but the explanation is so fast I gotta watch at low speed. Very informative!
3:25 Can i also use a Interface which is connected to two Studio Monitors?
Great explanation my friend
Slow down and explain this…..
Seems like this this channel is all about padels..Thats fine
Nah, im still fucking dumfounded!!! What am I missing here??
Thinking of making "what is it" 0:16 my ring tone.
How many pedals can i put through just the return ?
thx
Enjoyed this informative video, however I don’t know anyone who can answer this? Can you put a Watkins wem copicat in an amps fx loop?? I’d love to know, if not there’s no way of using it in the front of amp, if you already have pedals in the fx loop, Colin my hopes rest with you ????
what happens if we turn the amp on without a cabinet connected to it?
I ran my pig through the FX loop , great squeals, grunt sounds !
thanks i finally got my pedals hooked into my amps right i could hear my delay repeat threw it havnt tried my overdrive yet its an od2 is there a way i could use my overdrive as a volume boost i hear this can be accomplished by turning the drive all the way off and the tone all the way off and using just the volume to boost your amps volum im going to try this now that i got my effects loop right thanks you are a jeanous with affects
Thanks, one question. Where does the reverb on the amp sit in the chain.
so if i just used the clean tone on the amp and used my pedals for distortion i could put the effect before the distortion to fake the fx loop amp <- distortion <- mod <- guitar
would this work?
but to what do you link your guitar ???
You are one smart dude and thank you for sharing and being so specific….
very very helpful. thanks!
Great Video, I have a question if you don't mind answering it. I want to run my timed pedals through my FX loop (delay pedal, etc..) I know I should be using Stereo cables (please let me know if that's correct) my question is the daisy chain I run between those pedals are those short tiny cables I'm not sure if they're instrument or stereo, would that cause any damage or effect the quality of the sound? Thank you
I thought he was wearing a Dillinger escape plan shirt for 5 min
I had a cheap $10 amazon phaser that was totally unusable when plugged into the front of an amp, it had a weird oscillating noise that was unbearable.
I was about to return it to amazon when I decided to try it out in the effects loop of a newly acquired amp. It totally saved the pedal, it got rid of 99% of the weird noise. Now I can actually use it.
So, what if you're using a Boss GT-1 that has your distortion and other effects in the same pedal? Would you not be able to use the effects loop because your distortion would require using the pre amp?
I like this video.
