I'm a guitar player 1st but got a bass from my friend when he moved. So I needed a amp. Got the combo of this head. 15" speaker , tilt cab. Used of Ebay pick up only. Had to drive 120 miles one way. Later got the footswitch for $12. A little later ended up getting a Behringer green Thunderbird 25 watt bass combo also. Cheap local pickup. Now I've played bass in 2 worship bands and guitar. The basically free bass is a Dr Tech bass that looks like a Music Man bass
How do you have the eq set up?
Do you think it will work with a 4×10 400w? To much or less for it?

its a great amp. i have it and i am using a 3 x10 seismic audio cab with mine.
Why not pair it with a bahringer 2×10 cabinet as a beginner head and cab
