Using a QU-16 Digital Mixer in a Recording Studio
Here I walk through the benefits of using a digital mixer like the Allen and Heath QU-16 in a hybrid home studio. Some of the benefits discussed are Scenes, 16 inputs, App and DAW control.
Let me know if you have any questions about using the QU-16 in a home or professional studio like mine. I can talk more about setup and internal workings or workflows if desired.

Thanks for this video!! I have the QU 16 and have done a lot of live sound work with it in the past.. nice to know how good it can be used as a studio tool.. This video has inspired me to hook it up in my home studio and give it a spin. Thanks again!
4:35 Thanks for the video. So how do you separate the house mix from the individual monitors? Currently we are using Qu-You app and it seems that every one is effected by the house mix. Is there a better way to set this individually?
I’m having trouble getting my mic to record into pro tools I’m getting sound out but just can’t figure out using it as an interface trying to record a single vocalist think you could help?
