Using a QU-16 Digital Mixer in a Recording Studio

Here I walk through the benefits of using a digital mixer like the Allen and Heath QU-16 in a hybrid home studio. Some of the benefits discussed are Scenes, 16 inputs, App and DAW control.

Let me know if you have any questions about using the QU-16 in a home or professional studio like mine. I can talk more about setup and internal workings or workflows if desired.

  • Thanks for this video!! I have the QU 16 and have done a lot of live sound work with it in the past.. nice to know how good it can be used as a studio tool.. This video has inspired me to hook it up in my home studio and give it a spin. Thanks again!

  • 4:35 Thanks for the video. So how do you separate the house mix from the individual monitors? Currently we are using Qu-You app and it seems that every one is effected by the house mix. Is there a better way to set this individually?
