Would love more samples of this pedal being played direct.
Pro co rat is my go to when playing bass
I am very happy with my Damnation MBD, but more and more bassists whose tone makes me say “holy shit” are using these things. I gotta pick one up.
New ones now use standard 9v adapter
What's the sound-clip at the end of the video?
Check out Swedish band Viagra Boys to hear a true master using this pedal. He uses it and another drive to an SVT classic… dunno about their recordings but live I asked him he said no dry signal involved … and he sounds absolutely insanely good. I think that’s part of what sucks about most ‘bass pedals’ is the dry wet thing good thing they didn’t put it. Just use less drive if you want it cleaner. Sick preamp
The main benefit of this is that you can crank the treble and it doesn’t just get super clanky like the sansamp. What I love about Shellac’s bass tone, which they used, is that it has the right treble to cut through the guitar without getting clanky so the notes are still distinguishable
Great video, and love the Hum shirt !! One of my favorite bands.
Rad shirt, and I love this pedal.
jury is still out…but i have to say, i still use my electro harmonix little big muff. but it helps to have a decent E.Q .
Would like to hear what you think of the Darkglass Alpha/Omega compared to the Rusty Box.
It all goes back to David Wm Sims from the Jesus Lizard using the TS-50b.
Great review… Thank you…
Can you show how you connect your cables so you get a DI signal clean to DAW and get the RB sound at the same time?
