Hello, friends and neighbours. In this video, we will continue our bass basics lesson series for beginners with lesson number four. In this lesson, we’ll learn the notes of the G string and play all the notes we’ve learned so far. All while staying focused on our left-hand technique. I hope you enjoy this lesson, and I thank you for tuning in.

  • Thank you brother for taking the time to help me learn the Bass Guitar. I really appreciate you. I have been trying to to learn how to play the bass for quite some time. I just recently ran across your Utube channel this week on 03/23/25 and now I feel that I am finally starting to learn in your beginner bass lessons your Style of Teaching Technique is amazing and awesome. Thank you, Brother

  • Thank you sir, so much. I’m going to keep practicing the third and fourth lesson because I’m a slow learner. It would be great if I can have a one on one session with you on the internet but I’m not sure if you charge for that.

  • "Enjoy the sound of the bass, because that s very important". Essential words and emotional setup, musicwise of course, and towards living on a larger scale. I ve been playing guitar riffs mostly self taught for many years but always felt frustratingly bound by a cliff of stagnation because of a lack of knowledge of scales and harmony theory. But this ends this year, starting with bass course at the Brown's Stone ! Thanks for the warmth you put into these lessons. Your students feel "in good hands" while progressing on this bass journey. • Thank you so much for putting out this video series. You are by far the best online instructor that I've found after watching WAY too many other videos.

  • I have tried other YouTube Bass teachers, Youcisian nothing worked. They all seemed too fast I felt that I was not able to play the Bass. Your lessons are excellent, basic and go at a slow pace. It is starting to come together for me. Thank you. Working on cleaning up my notes.

  • Love your classes…I noticed you played almost everything with just your middle finger. How do you go about muting notes? Also how are you sitting and positioning the bass in your lap? Thanks!
