Subway D-350 | MESA/Boogie

At just 3 lbs. 2 oz. and a compact 3″x 9″, our new SUBWAY® D-350 is the lightest & smallest bass amp built here at the Home of Tone! Built on the foundation of our acclaimed Subway D-800, the D-350 provides bassists with world-class TONE in a portable, lightweight package with plenty of power & punch for small to mid-sized venues.

The Subway D-350’s intuitive feature set furnishes all the tone-shaping tools needed to deliver the tone, feel, and response that has made the Subway Series our most popular bass line to date. A fully active 4-band Baxandall EQ features fixed frequency high and low-frequency shelving controls, as well as fixed frequency Low Mid and High Mid peak/dip bands for even more tonal control. The Variable Voicing control adjusts the amp’s tonal response from a flatter shape to a vintage curve with the turn of a single knob.

With the flip of the Active/Passive switch, the D-350 adapts for use with active or passive basses. An Input Mute switch allows for silent use of inline tuners. The Bright switch adds bite and sparkle to the tone. Separate Gain and Master Volume controls allow players to dial up a wide range of tones from shimmering clean to mild overdrive and everything in between, while the built-in fixed high-pass filter (HPF) blocks unwanted, non-musical, headroom-robbing sub-sonic frequencies.

Aux Input and Headphones output jacks allow for simultaneous listening to a bass and a media player without disturbing others. The Subway D-350 also provides a USB power port for powering accessories. The fully-featured balanced XLR direct output (DI) with pre/post EQ source, ground lift, and Mic/Line level switches are perfect for delivering MESA’s legendary tone to the front-of-house or your recording system’s audio interface. The Subway D-350 was designed to complement our highly musical Subway® Ultra-Lite bass cabinets. A pair of speakON™ jacks are provided for connecting to these enclosures.

At only 3 pounds 2 ounces, sized to fit within a gig bag’s accessory compartment, offering stellar tonal flexibility, and packing 350-Watts of Class D power, the ultra-portable Subway D-350 is the perfect bass amp for small to mid-sized venues, recording sessions, or as a micro-sized backup when on tour.

  • Just got mine a couple days ago. Awesome sounding and surprisingly loud. Also so light that when I got the package in the mail I wasn’t fully convinced there was anything in the box

  • Sounds great…I just don't know how well this would drive or be loud enough at 8 ohms…..I have a 600 watt rated cab at 8 ohms….

  • Update after 10 gigs: this thing is a workhorse. I love the usb charger but the thing that really makes this amp shine is the absurd headroom. I was playing an outdoor campground gig with a six piece band and didn’t realize my volume was only at about 9:00 and it was more than keeping up

  • Why is it when I tap on the bass cabinet section on mesa boogie website nothing happens.
    Bring back the powerhouse cabinets.
Not everyone likes little light cabinets.

  • I was so worried about fender taking over Mesa Boogie. I thought they were going to kill them off like they did to SWR

  • How is it ALL these basses sound the same?
Can't say I was impressed with this head. Kinda sounds like Fender Rumble series with accented mids.

  • Hey Everyone! Believe me that this D-350 is awesome because of the quality and engineering that goes into all of Mesa's products! I play exclusively through the Mesa Boogie Subway Series Bass amps and cabs now and forever will. It is the sound I have been looking for for years! I run the WD-800 through the unbelievably sounding Subway 2-12 cab with it sitting on top of the worlds best 15" 1-15 Subway cab. It is a bass Rig that is versatile, portable and gets the job done on all of my venues! I just cannot say enough about Mesa Boogie!
