Gibson MODERN LITE Les Paul: Light except for the price

Gibson MODERN LITE:
https://thmn.to/thoprod/569733?offid=1&affid=3523

Here’s a look and review of the Gibson Modern Lite Les Paul, a lightweight Les Paul, that’s a blast to play, very basic/bare bones guitar, full specs below

some small qualms with the guitar itself, but the harder pill to swallow is regarding the price, I can’t help but feel that this seems overpriced or at least overcharging for the guitar, especially when you see some of the sales that seemingly come out of nowhere on some of this gear, since publishing this video, the price listings have considerably dropped from the initial launch, might be worth considering if you’re interested in a light weight les paul

  • was I being too harsh? it's a cool guitar but the pricing just has me scratching my head , i'm glad I picked this up at the reduced price (which the new price seems to have since been reduced to) but it makes you think

  • These should be a grand and the new studio session 1500 you could get a decent classic or traditional for 1600 used but great condition I've even seen standards go for £1800 used but again in great condition or you could get a fantastic studio Deluxe used with an amazing Triple A top of 1200 gibson really need to look at their prices I Want the firebird or the rd Only options are the customs and they are over five grand it's ridiculous other than that it's £1300 for an epiphone firebird still ridiculous I can get a shector Firebird shape guitar there's locking tuners and the works for 1200 brand new then you say guitars are amazing too these prices are insane when you don't even get locking tuners I have a schecter that's a few years old now it's a custom it's got pearl locking tuners ebony fret board quilt top neck through body and it's only 500 from a few years ago reverend Making Fantastic guitars all these other brands have great options it's just a bummer when you want a Gibson I have a gold top that's 9 years old it was pristine and brand new from Gibson and now it looks like it was a heavy relic because it's Nitro but it's aged way too much It is chambered so feels really nice to play though

  • For that price just go with a Studio. Better headstock, better inlays, better pickups, with money left over for a pedal.
No one should be buying these unless they already have a ton of Les Pauls and just want to have one of every type.
