exactly what i was looking for. thank you, dude
Your channel is a diamond in the rough, bro. Glad I found this. Thank you
Good quality
Damn, this is exactly the sound i'm looking for! I'm currently playing with a PPC212 CB, and a tiny terror, no pedals, and i'm playing on a epiphone les paul studio, or a classic vibe 50' tele , do you think the only thing i'm missing to get that modern overdrive is a good klon clone pedal ?
Deeply appreciate your help ,
Best regards From France ????
I thought you were Chad from the Cold Ones for a second.
Just here to say this helps a ton. Sorry I’m late to the party.
Wow, the tone and the music at the end was fantastic!
I'm a rare bird but I actually have the exact guitar that Tom DeLong played during 2008 not the production model The real thing and I also have a Mesa boogie dual channel triple rectifier revision g I know this is a dream setup but the problem is I don't know how to use it My recording gear is Steinberg CL1 and a PreSonus tube preamp I am currently using a crate GX212 which should be capable of doing pop punk but something is wrong guitar sound really thin
Could you do a tutorial on how to get this sound with plugins? Like Neural or STL Tonehub? That would be great!
Great!❤️
you look like a mix of mutahar and anything4views
Your ending when you show the different pieces working together… Please give us more of these kinds of videos!
Gain and treble can be your enemies really quickly if you don't tone them down ????????
Exceptional video! You are the best man! Very easy to follow and real world examples to help me make better choices in getting a better sound. Love your channel. Please keep them coming.
your tone is so cool
Amazing video and killer tone exactly what I’m looking for. So to summarize what set ups are bands like NFG, Story of the Year, & Yellowcard using for example? I have a 2015 PRS 30th anniversary with 57/08 pick ups as well as a 50th anniversary Tele and I am looking to get a similar? Any suggestion pedals, amps, pre amps etc thanks man great video!
Maaaaan, I just don’t get guitar tones and stuff. This video is like a different language to me. Why is learning about guitar tones so difficult? ????
nicely done, thanks
Really cool vidro bro! You should do one on My Chemical Romance Tone!
Im fucked. I though I had everything I needed and then I realized…….. I DONT HAVE THE FUCKING SNAPBACK!!!
Alas, i only have a Blues Jr. Any tips?
THIS IS THE EXAACT TONE I WANT OMGG
What do you use for DI recording? A certain interface or DI box?
2:20 8:13 What? A guitarist that cares for, looks out for, and understands the importance of the bassist? This is unheard of.
Like, you might get ostracized for this blasphemy. They might even call you…A bass player.
I have the same amp!!! This never happens. Fuck yeah.
Fck that guitar sounds nice dude. I have a HSS strat w/jb pick up and yours still sounds way more beefy!
Very good video. What pedals do you recommend besides overdrive?
what's the name of song you are playing?
I am trying to do this in a amplitube or guitar rig. I even tried with some of the Neural DSP Sims. For some reason I can’t seem to wrap my head around this. My mix is falling so short because of it
If the guy telling you how to get a good pop punk tone isn't wearing a backwards ball cap don't trust a damn thing he says.
dude my tones just sounded like s**t until I put the snapback on, they just came alive!
amazing tutorial and sound brother! are you running the pedal before the amp or in the fx loop??
Sounds awesome! What's your Mic setup on the cab? also any preamp recommendations?
Soloing the tracks really help me comprehend the goal behind the gain stages needed for the different parts. Great job!
Great video man. This is fantastic
i realize this is an old vid now, but did you have any post processing on the guitars?
Now do a DI version with amp sims
Damn hearing the full mix vs the solos was really helpful. That was great for demonstrating the specific sound you need
Oh fuuuuuuuck the slides on that track at the end!
This smacks bro, thanks man. Subbed ????
Can you make a vid how to sound like neck deep?
5:57 whats that pizza red pedal ??????
this is one of the only youtube tutorials ive seen that sounds like actual music lmao, loev this
Is there any major differences between lead and rythm tones? For example for solos and stuff would you kick on a ts or maybe just a clean boost to give the amp a little more push? Also is your sick-as an always on kinda thing or do you rely on it for certain things?
Hi mate, that was really good. Very useable and informative. Plus I love that you give a real world example at the end (and throughout). Thanks!
I was hoping more of a “home recording” stuff
