Bugera V22 Infinium (Real BARGAIN Tube Amp?)

The Bugera V22 Infinium. It’s an all tube/valve amp, that costs very little. It’s really budget friendly, especially considering that it has a fair bit of features. Two channels, loop, reverb, triode/pentode switch for half power, and it’s full of tubes/valves.
At 22 watts the V22 Infinium by Bugera is also powerful enough that you can gig with it. What’s not to like? Well, you never know before you try how it sounds. Does it take pedals?

  • Hi Elmo! Would you choose this over a Marshall DSL40CR? Do you think it's of a similar quality buildwise?

  • At home I use a Bugera V22. It's great for clean sounds. I can turn it down to 1 watt and for heavy sounds I use pedals like the REVV3 (It's worth every single cent). It's big headroom makes it a great base for pedals. It took me some time to get over the fact that it is cheapo equipment but now that I realized that it's not a compromise but a good choice I play it with pride 🙂 I am so done with this "good for the price" bla bla. If you like the sound it is good no matter the price.

I am SO happy that I managed to get my hands in one Ive wanted one like this for years especially cuz I like to play alot of blues. And this gives the best blues sound without questions asked! FANTASTIC AMP! BUY IT IF U GOT THE CHANCE! Best bang for the buck for sure!! Love it and I never ever get rid of it. Never. Sounds so damn good. <3

  • Interesting that some folks swear by Bugera, and I've been looking for a backup combo…I may have to consider this, because it was either this or a Blackstar…but man, Blackstar tubers are going for Marshall prices now, it's ridiculous

  • You are as fast as anyone I have heard not that fast is anymore important than playing with feel you can fly.

  • How do the cleans, to your ears, compare to a Vox? Is it as chimey? Or is it more of a Fender clean tone?

  • i give up trying to get help with this pos. they are all nothing but trouble . every single one of them has problems. and it doesnt matter if its a newer infinium series. i have had two of them and they were both troublesome.. save yourself the stress and expense and stay away from bugera products

  • these amps are no barqain. they are nothing but trouble. im on my second one and will never buy another bugera or behringer product ever again. there isn't even a real company behind these bogus products. its just a phantom company that does not exist and when you buy their products you are on your own. doesnt matter if they sound good becasue that wont last very long. there is no one you can call or contact when you have problems. you will spend more on repairs than you paid for the amp. no amount of you tube demo vids or anyones endorsements are going to make any difference. they are junk plain and simple

  • I have had this amp for a while and I keep going back to it. I get excited every time I play it.

  • and the irony is, even at this price this will pulverize all this ridiculously expensive hardware 'simulators', and even amps costing much more that don't have the Infinium…..a Bugera is not a 'clone' of anything, for the original amps don't have the Infinium, which really is an incredible feature if one understands what it really does. Great demo BTW

  • I got a good deal on a new Eminence EM12 driver so I stuffed it in mine. Wow, it really took this amp to the next level.
