The Ultimate Acoustic Guitar Tone with Quad Cortex

I did a gig using my Quad Cortex on acoustic guitar with a full band that included drums, bass, and vocals. The experience was fantastic, and I was really happy with the sound that came out during the performance. The combination of the acoustic guitar and the Quad Cortex created a rich and vibrant tone that really stood out in the mix. Since I had such a great time and was pleased with the results, I thought I’d take a moment to do a walkthrough of the preset I used for the gig. In this video, I’ll break down the settings I chose, explain how I dialed in each effect, and share tips on how to achieve a similar sound for your own performances. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just starting out, I hope you find this walkthrough helpful and informative!

Man that sounds great. I’ve tried everything and my Taylor acoustic sounds meh through the cortex. Just bought a black angel humbucker acoustic for pickup and still having some sound issues. I’m about to give up and do my acoustic gigs with my electric guitar.
I created a very similar acoustic preset. I found that running dual IR block in mono helps boost level. I’m also starting to use the doubler to make the chorus bigger.
Never mind about the guitar sounds
Where can I get the dungarees?????????????
Great sounds, TJ….appreciate your videos, and have been using your acoustic / hybrid presets.
