Aria Pro II 313-BB Detroit // Bass Guitar Review
You’ve seen me review a number of basses by the legendary and well-respected brand Aria Pro II. This recent addition to their hotrod series of basses, the 313-BB Detroit, is an awesome workhorse of a bass. With a striking open-pore finish, huge PJ sound, roasted maple neck and Wilkinson bridge, this thing is gig-ready out of the box – take my word for it! More info…

HAD an ARIA, and it DEFIBITELY Did the Job at the Time!! (And I'm a Professional, so Take NOTE, "brand Elitists"!!)
I’m listening/watching this on my iPhone & it even sounds good through the phone speakers.
As a native of metro Detroit who now lives in Kentucky, I need this bass with that finish! Great demo.
looks like a nice fat fender D jazz neck? how's the weight?
Nice bass. Love the pickguard, finish (and I might even like the headstock, but I’m still debating that). PJ + 24 frets is nice ????
Welcome back! That bass smacks!
What ever happened to Aria Pro I?
Love these basses. The Chinese factory that made the Aria Pro II re-branded the same exact parts (down to the alnico5s and Wilkinson hardware, even same fretboard radius — an apparently common practice for Chinese manufacturers to offer these rebrands at a discount b/c the factory is already tooled to produce them). Except has a roasted maple fretboard to go with the roasted maple neck and a rebranded Ibanez 2×2 headstock shape. I bought the HB because their version came in an open pore blue finish that I had to have. Gonna play mine tonight in front of the computer. A favorite bass of mine. Makes me want to play it better and take some some chances. Inspiring in that way. Really couldn't ask for more from a quality PJ setup (it has THAT sound).. And Low-end Lobster reviewed and rated bass of the year for her channel. Check out her review if you want to see what I'm talking about. Thanks for posting another video of these great instruments, whatever the name on the headstock..
Great to see you back on YT – and great review! I'm curious what the nut width is on that bass.
Nice to hear and see you again rumbling man. I think your slap is great. It fits what you need it to do. And that is "put down the groove". PJ with 24 fret is the most versatile bass you can have. Add a 5th string and an active /passive circuit and you might as well get rid of your whole collection. Except your Warwick and your Stingray bass. With these 3 you can play everything. Keep it rumbling my man. Keep it rumbling. ????✌️????????????
Glad to see you Rumblin
Awesome review, Brother. And so nice to have you back. This Aria Pro II is definitely a beautiful bass, and I much prefer the stripped down review. God Bless you, Brother. ✝????????????????✝
Sounds great. It has an almost “passive Spector” tone to it and the bridge pickup sounds fuller than a lot of bridge J pickups.
Good to have you back! Great review! Sounds really good, this is how a PJ should be done: Not just a P with an additional pickup, but a more modern, comfortable shape that's not too contemporary. I mean, that's basically the shape which Aria Pro II did since the 80s. This also has some serious Rocco Prestia vibes, looks similar to his Conklin bass. And I like that on the PJ version, the P pickup is much closer to the neck, which results in a great slap tone. And on the single P version, it's closer to the bridge for more punch.
Nice and sounds great! Good to see you again, Brother, God bless you!
Welcome back. Great review.
