These genius players can be so dam nice and humble…so refreshing!!
Name dropper! Albert Collins and Tab Benoit, two of the blusiest Tele masters. Tab is still touring and making great music.
Still one of my favorite rig rundowns ????????????
Im proud to say Jonny is a friend
Bollinger is really tame in this one. Really mellow
John "Ace Ventura" Bollinger
Why is bohlinger talking so quiet
JB rock on bro <3 respect..also TELE's are the best guitars…esp thin lines….i had a chance to buy one from 1971 …back in atlanta georgia (around 1995) for $750 @ pawn shop….had no money…it was gray/all beat up with case….fuck man fuck….being broke sucks 🙂 well , well ….hopefully one day 🙂
John was super mellowed out in this episode – nicely done!
Jonny Lang is so underrated
1.5 mm pick.
I really want to know who modded the amps? was it Dumble?
I can't take someone that looks like ace ventura serious.
Brennan is your biggest fan
that's a tele shape, but that ain't no tele son, not with those pickups in it
i can't quite understand the tech's last name ??
enjoyed the groove tubes aspen pittman reference and the amp portion , "no time based effects on there", cool
"the amp responds in a particularly cool way (sometimes called sag) and the sound just gets warmer, fuller and sweeter" As in power supply sag?
Since when did Jim Cary host guitar shows?
both Jonny Lang and Warren Tremini are great guys i love both of em! oh and nice intro from Jonny there, he's a great guy
Nice job, Mr. Bolinger! Enjoyed this.
John Bollinger is rocking that Duane Eddy haircut….semi Johnny Cash flying ducktail….
Why is everyone on John's back? This interview was fine; he seemed interested, and was respectful throughout. Neither of the interviewees were particularly outgoing, I think that may have had more to do with any 'awkwardness' sone people may have perceived?!! 😛
OGG, not another interview with "StudMuffin" Bollinger …
The saddle on the Martin looked to be have special compensation on several strings, did not look stock to me but I've never seen that model up close. Great video, thanks!
So the amps aren't reissue deluxe reverbs then?
I haven't been watching these rig rundowns that long. I've probably seen a half-dozen of them. I always enjoy them. Although some people commented that this one seemed a bit awkward, I don't think it was John Bollinger's fault. He asked the right questions in a good way. Both Jonny and his tech were just not particularly relaxed and smooth in what they said. Regardless, I think it was great–very informative, and it gave me a sense of Jonny's personality and his gear, which is the goal.
The top on that Les Paul is PERFECT ! Subtle, but stunning.
That is just a gorgeous guitar, looks so unique…different from all these overrated Telecaster common color and design…this is even better-looking Tele compared to John 5's Tele equipped with humbuckers…:)
this tech is the coolest guy ever idk he just looks so nice and hes really helpful like he really wants to show whats going on behind the scenes
Hey, is John Lang getting interviewed by Jim Carey?
I am disappointed in the JB wah..why not a Jonny Lang wah….come on people.
I think John Bollinger is a fantastic host – he has a great presence about him.
am I the only one questioning the duct tape lol
Isn't it nice to know that you pay thousands of dollars and you MIGHT get a good LP.
3 bill Lawrence pickups on that tele whoa !
I like Jonny's hair
Frigging "Pedals R Us". I've been bitching about this since the late '70's. Can't anyone besides Angus and a few others just plug it straight into the amp and let it rip? Frigging pedals, you don't even have to know what to play. Stomp on a box, and i'll play itself for you.
Jonny seems like a nice dude same goes for his tech ????
Not that rubber face Bolger guy again!
A very humble guy that Jonny. His tech is someone who cares about his work and the guy he is working for…great RR!
I dont think this was a very good rig run down, Like the other guys comment where is the pedal demo ? what about the Other guitars in the rack? I seen a gibson 335 and others! Also what pickups were in the les paul 57s, 498T or what? he just said stock! these are things the readers and watchers what to know.
Maybe bring the Martin into the bus…
I know this one is old. But I would love to see more bass players gear and set ups and rig run downs
