I got mine for my first electric and I think its great for beginners but I could see why more experienced players shy away from them. totally worth the cheap price though.

They look like Duncan Invaders. That's what I thought they were at first except I've never seen red ones

I have a four string Glarry bass with a similar body and it’s in red. I like the design but I heard it went out of fashion quick and was considered a failiure.
They did made a double humbucker glarry and im planning on getting one to try and then upgrading it with better pots and a better nut, locking tuners, probably kwickplug pickups and a better switch like the fender standard three way switch
