Sean I’m glad I found you. I’m a lifetime pro vocalist who always loved guitar, but never had the time. I stated at 65 upon retirement, and have been playing seriously for 3.5 years. I am now devouring your videos. Wish I could afford your Patroen, but Social security is my only income
That's awesome – love it.
Dude, use that rowing machine. Set yourself a target. How about 8:00 to row 2000m? If that's too easy set yourself a new target. The reason you don't train is because you don't have a target to aim for, but I've just given you one. My goal is to get 7:00 for 2000m, but that will take a lot of training. Good luck!
You look like A Gordon Ramsay that changed his career to music 20 years ago. Good vid.
Sounds terrible but okay
Awesome !
Personally i dont think it sounds good
Does dangelico know your cheatin????
E major 7 a minor 7
Heyyyy, have you ever tried?…
Reminds me of Make It With You by Bread.
I feel like I used to play this for one republic's stop and stare song.. Been ages.. ????
seems like it would be great with D/F#
also the chords he played are literally the exact chords for Lemon Boy by Cavetown
You could be a relative of gordon ramsay
Listen to the song “cyclone” by sticky fingers
I like your tips, but I'm not sold on those sounds :0
YESSSS!!! I wanna use these Emaj7-structured chords more often. It's even more fun when you get to use those structures for the A and B chords!
Nights falls on Hoboken
Sounds like your guitar is not tuned right or if not your guitar sounds crappy
This was used alot in the late 90's early 2000's emo music. Chris Carraba in Dashboard comes to mind. Midwest emo etc.
Thanks for the chord hack short!!!
Thanks Sean, I'm always looking for different chords to write from..
This sounds wrong…
????????????
Is that a Taylor 324 CE builders edition?
The Bread chord
Thank you for this tip Sean. It went unused by me until today.
Strictly just an aside, an observation: swapping the first and second fingers is a very viable grip.
1st finger, 3rd string at fret 1, 2nd, to the 4th at 1, and the 3rd to the 5th at 2.
That's how I've always done it, because "Eyes of the World" (Grateful Dead) starts with E maj7 AND there's a rhythmic figure on it right from of the beginning – it just seemed like the fingers aligned well and naturally, and that was a huge part of my early guitar: working out of a Grateful Dead song book.
No interwebz then. Anyhow, that's how I grip it.
