  • I love these guys, but while i appreciated that they didn't have it running through a sophisticated line-into rig, does having it run through an amplifier that's 30% more expensive than the guitar make sense as a common use-case for this guitar? And a room – mike, I think, would also have not featured the amp as much, so closer to common use-case scenario, would it not? As Cooper admitted, he's not really the audience for this product. I'm so glad this one seems to de-emphasize that acoustisonic aesthetic of the top finish slid slant color change of the woods on the top of the body

  • I've been using a Player series Acoustasonic for about 2 years now. Over 200 gigs on it. It's perfect for what I do. I flip between acoustic and electric songs so this covers all my bases. I set up patches for the sounds I want on my processor. I love the lightweight, thin body. Very comfortable to play for 3-4 hours at a time.

  • So it’s got acoustic/electric crossover capabilities…. What it doesn’t have on either the standard, or American model (especially important for the electric side) is an adjustable bridge.

    Intonation matters.

  • I've owned over 100 guitars … the Acoustasonic Player is the best guitar I've ever owned… that neck is finally the perfect size … GREAT SOUNDS.

  • lol, Cooper makes me want every guitar I see him play, and then when I get them I’m like… “shit… I can’t play like him”. ????

Amazing player. These definitely are more intriguing at this price point.

  • Specs say the fingerboard is rosewood. Either way I’m not interested but it’s a good option for those who are.
    Thanks for the video

  • I got very little for this product review BUT based on the reduced set of this guitar there is REALLY not much to talk about or demo. For me there is NOT a lot of interest in THIS guitar. LOVE the idea but I was not impressed with the sound. Fender took the WORST acoustic sound from their high end versions AND there worst electric pickup sound and put BOTH in one guitar. I love the looks but VERY VERY disappointed in both voices. I play in church and will stick with my Godin XTSA which has the better piezo acoustic voicing. To me this guitar is not worth more than $299.99 and I still would not buy it.

  • Update on the pricing: Anywhere else in the world this guitar will be $599.99 as you stated.
In America it will now be $1,500 due to the tRump tax. Enjoy!

  • Great playing. Personally I don’t think this sounds like either, whereas they’re trying to make it sound like both.
