Jazz Bass 70´
So basically all of them sound good s long as the player is good lol
Both Jazz Bass 60's and 70's are killer… The rest is kinda "meh"
Loved the white active one
Subjectively 70's Jazz is the perfect slap bass, thanks to its recessed front pickup placement, with its tight, mid-scooped, warm yet punchy slap sound. Stingray, when slapped aggressively, is a close second. Most other basses (the P, the Warwick, and modern ones) either have a quirky or a sanitized studio kind of slap tone.
is this a guitar?
no
Whare can I get info for that Element Bass? Thanks
Nice bass face btw.
I hope this aint a dumb question but…….
What does everyone think about the P bass slap sound?
I personally don't like its slap sound; I think it has too much bark and dullness to it imo. But I'm curious to see what other folks think about it, and cross check my own views for accuracy.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the fingerstyle P bass to death; I don't think anything does warm, deep tones like it can. But I think the slap tone could be spruced up a tad.
Conclusion: if the player is good, it's gonna sound awesome regardless of the bass
No Sire ???The best slapbass for the money in the world !????❤️
The best of all time slap basses are ken Smith
My favorite slap sound is the 70s Jazz Bass! This Marcus Miller tone is just perfect!
They all sound amazing due to your play! The 70ties, the 60ties J and the music man are my favourites according to my hearing habits. I mean: the E-string on the 70ties J sounds just awesome!
Wow that's my arm
That 70's J style does not appear to be a 70's. The bridge PUP should be closer to the bridge. And Spectors have some fo the best slap tones I've ever heard.
wow I really liked that first 60s J-Style bass 🙂 It's love in the air
great description! thanks
