You might want to correct your explanation on the preamp knobs. You are right about the volume. The knob closest to the MM is the pickup blender and the three remaining (from left to right viewed from the front) is bass, middle, treble cut/boost. The little switch is for splitting the humbucker (MM). Positioned left only the rear pickup is on, in middle both, and right the front.
A very nice system – got one myself.
