FENDER LT25 – I bought one of these. Good or bad idea?

I recently bought this amp from Sweetwater. Does it measure up?

  • No such thing as a beginner amp ,it’s either an amp or it’s not ,it’s just inexpensive,it’s made for practice at any stage of playing ,I plan to get one for studio use

  • Good review! I see there's now 160 presets with the toneamp software, and the cool thing is you can choose as few or as many as you want. I'm picky, so if there's 5 or 6 I love I'll be a happy camper. I've looked at, and sampled probably two dozen hobbyist type amps, I'd say this one is a good fit for the casual player or beginner.

  • Hi !
I can understand your disappointment with the effects, which are not stereo. I would like to know if the sound is still suitable for headphones? Would it be better to buy a fender Mustang V2, used for this specific use? Stereo effects are not what I'm looking for, but rather sound quality and quality amp modeling.

  • I got one too. Yes is mono. I record with Audacity through the USB cable attached to my laptop. Then I split the track creating 2 ( L and R ) and pan both channels and add delay on one channel, it becomes a really good stereo effect recording.

  • Hi guy's, im not much of a gear expert and i have one of these. I have a mexico strat and a brand new jack lead, and the presets just sound so rough … very naturally trebley too.

Do you tend to use extra peddles and stuff to clean up the sound?

  • I'm gonna be honest, I didn't need to watch the review to the end, halfway was enough !
A serious and informative review, to the point I watched anyway.
A total no-brainer. I've seen enough and made up my mind to buy it.

  • I've done a LOT of recording using the USB out on my LT25 into Cakewalk on my HP laptop with ZERO latency issues, so the problem is your device or DAW, not the amp!

  • Besides it functioning as a guitar amp, do you think it could handle a digital piano into the aux input? Especially the lower frequencies. Thanks!

  • I just saw the end of the video and I want to thank you for the honest review. I think the amp sounds great! But I am a "bedroom" musician. I play for fun! I use my headphones quite a bit. What other Fender amp would you recommend that sounds great with headphones? Thank you for posting this.

  • I love that Stratocaster in the Crunch sound! Nice. I tested this amp with a guitar that I bought. The P90s on my guitar sounded great clean.

  • didn't they make the damn thing compatible for your Android phone? At least with Bluetooth. Hell this is 2022… Got to go buy a bunch of other crap just so you can record your guitar… So you mean LEKATO can make a portable amp and plug your phone into it and record and Sounds great! And Fender has been in the business for 20,000 years and they can't even make a damn amp to be able to record to your freaking phone that sounds halfway decent….????
