that's really helpful – I've always struggled with learning the notes and remembering whether they are sharps or flats given that they land on the same fret. Piano keyboard on the other hand has immediatley identifiable keys for either sharps or flats thus making a small but significant difference. Thanks Mikko. Nice Guitar by the way

Interesting analogy with the piano, because lots of guitar players argue that they do not think in term of notes, but intervals instead.
