  • I guess I am alone on this but the idea that I need to have my phone handy to use this seems worse than being waterboarded while listening to bad polka music.

The stage, studio and practice halls are my escape from phones.

They are my excuse to not carry my phone. …eeek!

It is like gigging with my mom, 27 ex-wives, 14 telemarketers and a few bothersome folks shackled to me.
    No thank you!

  • I have both Spark GO and Blackstar Fly3. To me, Spark sounds awesome when Blackstar Fly3 sounds like you're playing in a toilet. Oddly, everybody is raving about Blackstar…

  • My little Tribit Bluetooth speaker is about the same size..cost 50 bucks has 25 watts power, and sounds 50 times better than this little box.
Positive Grid could have done better.
The low frequency spec on this Spark Go is listed as 110 Hz…which doesn't make sense, because…an open low E string on a standard tuned guitar vibrates at 82 hz.
Also the design sounds muffled & boxy to me at any volume.
Spark App is great, no doubt..
But the Spark Go is a dissapointment.
Needs better engineering and or a bigger speaker.
I'll keep using my Tribit connected wirelessly to my Nu-x Mighty Pro headphone amp, and get
25 watts, full range sound, tons of volume, longer battery life, full app control, and the same pocket size portability.
Hopefully the Spark Go 2 will sound better.

  • It makes fantastic crackling fireplace sounds. The Spark GO is a FIRE HAZZARD. I have had THREE of them and EACH ONE is, basically, a timebomb! The batteries are flat-out DANGEROUS. Customer Service is SHIT !!!

  • I think the point was how the actual amp sounds not how the mic made it sound through my phone ok through my tower speakers night and day actually having the amp in front of you completely different and nobody is ever going to play this at max volume I say get one and make your own choice because overall for what it is this has to be the most fun I’ve ever had gone are the days of buying one effect at a time super cool worth every penny

  • So if the mic output is so good, can't you just plug it into a better speaker when you play at home?

  • My daughter wants her first electeic guitar for christmas. Would this be a good first amp to go with her first guitar? Or should i get her aomething more traditional? I find the ability to play along with her favorite songs via bluetooth might keep her interested when she's just starting to play.

  • Thank you for really showing and letting us hear it! I've been searching the whole internet trying to find an as close as what we might get in a room without any post-eqing and compressing!

  • Thanks for the video. I would love to have heard it tested with an acoustic guitar & and a looper pedal, which is what I would like to use it for. Would you have any advice on the best small practice amp (for ~€100 mark) which would be good for looping a Takamine acoustic guitar with built-in pickup & pre-amp – for home/bedroom use only. Would appreciate any guide here.

  • camera audio ends up acting like a high pass filter (relative to the mic at ear level). Presumably, the mic at ear level is close to what it actually sounds like

  • Hi – Out of both the camera and microphone recording, which do you think sounded closest to sitting there listening to it live?

  • If you use a cable from headphone output to any amplifier input using a 1/8 to 1/4 cable you get amazing tones that you can also tweak with the eq of your amp.
