Fender Rumble 100 bass combo DEMO

This is a demo of the Fender Rumble 100 v3 bass combo. The aim of the video is not to show all the possible sounds but rather to demonstrate the amps basic character. The bass used in the video is a stock Fender American Standard Precision with well used nickel rounds. The amp is recorded direct from the line out jack in to the audio interface.

  • Great video; nice work playing! I’ve never seen an International Harvester logo on anyone’s gear before. It definitely works! These Rumble 100’s are pretty good & at 22 lbs they won’t kill our backs!

  • I have one now, but I'm going to get another and have a 200 watt 2X12 bass rig. I replaced the Chinese Eminence with an Eminence S2012, and the amp just "opened up"! I also put some batting inside the cab, and the amp sounds awesome!

  • I just got this amp to compliment my rumble 800 that is only for shows and rehearsals. The Rumble 100 imo is the perfect home practice amplifier for bass. It’s small and light enough to be moved anywhere but powerful enough to make your bass sound full and rich. Love it. I haven’t recorded with it yet, but will be doing that soon. I think it will be nice to have the same tone I’m playing with on the recording. In the past, I’ve always practiced with an amp but then used plugins when recording and not really able to get the tone I want using plugins. That’s down to my faults though I’m sure. But I highly recommend this amp to any bass player wanting a great sounding home practice amp that’s easy to use and sounds great.

  • Fint men jag saknar Jazzbasens grund. Vet inte varför men Jazzbas är bara hemma för mig.

  • Wow! You guys don't know how to give informative videos. If you're going to demonstrate sounds of amp, don't you think you need to show settings on amp.

  • I've been looking at high end bass heads. All the typical ones. Aguilar, GR, Phil Jones and Genzler. But I'm seriously considering a Rumble 800 had. Thanks for the demo.

  • Is this amp Loud enough to Gig in Medium sized restaurant with Guitar, Drums & Keys doing Motown? ( or do I need the 200 watts ) Appreciate any input.

  • Nice clean and clear sounding amp combo, the highs and lows sound great and I hope to have one in my collection.

  • After 10 years of playing with a horrible 20w practice amp this sounds good and clean . Almost went for the 40w but after seeing this vid the 100w is the right choice . More power is always a good thing .

  • Worthless demo! This line out method completely eliminates the actual sound of the amp, this is in no way the sound the actual amp makes when the internal speaker is used. I can't believe someone would do this????????????

  • Nice demo! I have the same amp. Are you using the Rumble's XLR out and using an XLR to 1/4" cable to connect to the interface?

  • Excellent review. Thanks! Yes, the OD of the v3 Rumbles is very good (I have a 200 combo). However, if you don't use OD in your playing, you can convert the OD to a MUTE function. Set both OD knobs (DRIVE and LEVEL) fully off (counterclockwise). Switching the OD circuit on (via button or footswitch) will effectively mute the amp!

  • Best demo of the Rumble ive seen. Much respect for doing it mostly with a pick, as this is how i play. This has sold me on getting the 800watt head. Thanks.

  • Wow! That overdrive actually sounds really good, wasn’t expecting that as the clean and flat eq sounded awesome. Will be buying thanks for one of the only good test of this amp

  • Great demo but the bass would sound much better with flatwound or old round wounds it shouldn't sound like a baritone guitar
