Great review. Thank you.
I Guess theres a reason why they are big , there meant to be "Vintage" recreation of the first effects pedals " The first effects pedals in the 60s were made from bottom parts of Wah-Pedals . ( the Rotosound Fuzz pedal is an example )
Back in the day, long before miniturization, pedals were HUGE. — IMHO though, the trend today is to go smaller and save real estate space on the pedalboard. Nano, mini and micro pedals are a very attractive thing for a lot of guys. A wah-wah sized compressor (and other effects) doesn't fit the paradigm. I think there will always be that faction of humanity that wants to "buck the system"… so for the Size Rebel these might be a fit. But (again IMHO) you're paying for a look and a whole lot of steel you don't need. — My prediction is that they'll be (or maybe already are, its now 2019…) a major flop…
Pure filth. Love 'em.
These go completely in the opposite direction of the current boutique, so clean you could eat off it ocd pedal boards. Therefore I love them, I have the fuzz, would like the delay as a companion.
Are these true bypass? anyone?
..when I get myself a roadie or two, I'll get one!
Even your bypass signal was too compressed… I cant even recognize single vs humbucker sound you mentioned
I love the size! Great if you only want a couple of pedals and no board. Just drop on the floor, plug in and go!
Is there any reason to have this big size?
Too big
Они огромпые
WHAT GUITAR IS THIS
Although sound good (especially if you touch Tom) do not seem practical or functional, too big
One word… 'too big'.
Problem is – no room on a pedalboard for these monster bricks. I'd never buy em for that reason alone – nothing really unique about em except the size!
Holy mother of big pedals!
