Thank you so much. The way you explained the bridge, made much easier to understand and play.
Congrats for the channel, really great explanation !
you are playing a whole step up. its E and B#7
It's beautiful how it's only 3 chords but SO intricate and composed. Goes to show you that knowledge is power. Very inspirational composition.
You're wrong Dude! Wrong key!
Man congratulations and thanks a lot. I think You are the best bass teacher on YouTube ????????
Hmmm….You're a half-step higher than the recording. It's primarily F# and E
Good lesson – I have to play this today. It was helpful. But why …. why …. not play it in the original key? I can transpose.
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDEEE WTF? iTs oNly a hAlF sTeP ofF nO biGgzZz! I came here cause I'm lazy and never listened to the Beatles and was asked to fill on on bass this Saturday. Please check in to the retard house NOW. BTW correct version here…

Watching Paul play it on the rooftop it appears he's playing E minor to F#.
Thank you mister !!!
Thank you!
Can someone tell me the correct key?
what pickups are these?
per the others…this would have been SO HELPFUL had it been in the Beatles key of E. I didn't want to have to learn another key just to transpose it back to the key required for performing tonight.
Good lesson, many thanks. Easy to transpose into the original key.
Good job of making the riff more complicated than it actually is. Congrats on your skill and talent
It's F# and E
How the heck you do it faster !! I can do it ????
why teach something slowly and helpfully and then straight after play something different and not explain
Okay, it's 24 hours later and not only did I learn this entire base-line to perfection (transcribed to E so I can sing the harmonies w/the band), being a non-trained musician, I also learned the major, minor, penatonic and mixolydian scales and how P. Mc used these to create this bassline; and more importantly, why it's about time I learn the damn scales. I've played by ear all my life and things like 5 count's, etc are always easy for me but this was probably a months worth of music theory (for a newcomer) in 24 hours. Which I think is his intention. Not to just teach the song but, put his theory lesson's to use. Thanks Mr. Bass Academy guy.
No worries, Ashley knows what he's doing.
Came here to comment wrong key. You guys are way ahead of me ????
wrong key
