jst under £300 can't be right i got a gem copy on eBay for just over £100 and it is really nice compared to a lot of branded second had ones in cash gen etc!

I think it looks great. Very cool.
I got the same guitar. Biggest waste of $399 ever. The color is wrong (too dark). The body shape is indeed all wrong. The lion's claw looks like it was routed by someone who was blind and is huge, and makes no sense for what it is trying to accomplish (allow the string retainers to pull up).
The input jack was dead. There was no retainer bar behind the locking nut. The locking nut surface mounted – yours at least goes through the neck. The fingerboard was very sloppy attached to the neck. The frets were all wrong. Medium jumbo.
But here's the worst part of all: The stud holes, that hold the studs to the body, were drilled into the trem spring cavity. You can literally see the black stud threads from inside the trem cavity.
I will never be able to afford a real LNG Jem 777, ever, but I will also never be able to afford throwing $399 away again.

But how does it play (feel)? Are you going to do a follow-up video on that?
I think it looks a little goofy, but I can't quite place it. Maybe it's the slightly odd body shape and the extra large claw cutout. It just looks not quite right.
