  • My favorite bass atm but man I can’t afford the price tag irritates me cause I want it so bad….

  • I played one of these a few weeks ago, and found it to be one of most uncomfortable basses I have ever played.

  • Check out Uncle Ben doing the bass demo????????. I love it????. That bass is beautiful. I'm not a fan of headless guitars but that guitar looks amazing.

  • I LOVE the look of this bass! Going to do a little more research on it but I’m most likely going to pull the trigger soon

  • I just got the 1506MS in antique brown, and it’s amazing. I’m still getting used to the multiscale design and having 6 strings, but it plays like butter and is super lightweight.

  • The contour in the back is actually a major negative. If you wear the bass a bit higher up the edge in the back cuts into your stomach. Also, there’s not much in the way of sturdier soft cases out there that fit this bass. So if for some reason you can’t put it in the overhead and it’s in the flimsy bag it came with it will be damaged. Otherwise it’s a lot of fun to play these EHBs.

  • Why the actual fuck would they give it a pale moon ebony top and then paint over it? That's just simple blasphemy.

  • It took a while to realize what was being played in the beginning was a really bad version of Blue Collar Tweakers. Then it happened again on a different Primus song. Dude plays them like a 14 year-old that gets an approximation of how something is played and then proudly plays it around his friends haha

  • bro before you say 35" and 34" 5 strings bass night and day – try once warwick basses with 34" scale

  • Beautiful instrument. But I don't get why the big manufacturers still can't get the headless design for normal strings to be more subtle. It would be so easy to hide the ugly clipped off string ends if you just pull them through to the backside of the head piece at a 90 degree angle and insert the locking screws into the neck legth-wise – which would also take a bit of strain off the screws by additional friction and thus make the locking connection more secure with less torque required on the locking screws.
Also, since everybody is copying Dingwall's fanned fret design these days, why do so many not do it properly?? This bass here is a notable exception, but most variable scale length basses I have seen are far too half-assed with the entire concept, barely scraping the one-ich-difference mark in overall variation. If you want to fan the frets, then please commit to the idea and go all the way. Dingwall does not have a copyright on the exact scale length difference, do they?
