Sean – I have a Big Baby Taylor and a Martin MMV. Love the size of the Taylor and the sound of the Martin, but if I had to pick my fav, it's the Taylor. I've gotten connected to the smaller body, and really like the size of your Gibson. (and your lessons by the way(: )

Could you do me a favor and do a video of John Lennon's lead playing on "Get Back" rooftop performance? I'm hoping for a dive into playing it and theory .
Can someone help me understand how to play my guitar through my computer speakers/headphones with active EQ's?
I use reaper and I have a scarlet audio Interface. All I've ever been able to do was listen to my applied EQ's AFTER I record through a clean tone. How do have active effects AS IM RECORDING PLAYED BACK TO ME?

It’s also cool,how all the extensions are kinda versions of the other chords in the scale.g maj 7 is like b minor over g.Aminor 7,is c over A.cmaj 7,E minor over c.ect

outside if the context of all the other extended jazzy chords, that em9 sounds SUPER emo like Thrice or Thursday
Lot of new fingerings and heavy lifting ahead for me with these chords. Much like trying to break into The Hallmark world. Hold the vision and I'll try and hold the chords.

Hey Sean, great lesson as always. It would be helpful for a chord sheet. Sometimes it takes me a moment to follow the chords you show. It hurts my brain cell to understand them at first but then my blacklight goes off and I see what you're doing. Maybe just a cheat sheet for us slower students? Anyway, thanks for this as always. Btw, I'd like to hear you use that guitar creatively. Imo the walnut/spruce combo produces a really sweet sound that's music to my ears and is very different from what we're used to, which is why I bought a Dowina Chardonnay GA when the last thing I needed was another guitar. But so far what I've heard on your new Gibson sounds a bit thin and lightweight, partly because of the size and newness I'm sure, and I'm curious to know how you plan to use it and to hear what it can do.

Love these chords. They feel like a huge step up from the basic "cowboy chords", yet aren't very hard to play at all. Good suff!
