Honestly, just get the Zoom B2 Four and you have all the stuff and pedals you need. Everything in this multieffect pedal sounds at least decent. You also get DI models which act like IRs. I use the B2 Four for a year by now and I´m very very happy with it – helps me to be creative in a very convenient and fast way.
arguably id say forcing yourself to use pedals more is actually good. pushes you to be creative and utilise all the effects you can to make wholly new things. play around with chain order! dime your pedals completely wacky like! lets you write things u never wouldve thought to write
The trouble with stuff like this is there is always something missing that you want, so you just stay with either a big multi effects or a pedal board.

I have the 3 channel Sansamp and it's one of the best bass gear purchases I've ever made. This is a pretty intriguing pedal
I never suffered from pedal acquisition syndrome because I never had enough money to waste like this, so in 4 years playing guitar I bought only 5 pedals (now I'm stuck because I can't buy a bigger power supply ????)
Nowadays you can get a Zoom MS-60B+ which is smaller and way more flexible. And if you want to step up your game take the HX Stomp.
See, I had been tempted by the Bass Fly Rig, both the version 1 and later the v2, but knew I needed more than this offers, such as a delay. So I got an HX Stomp XL, which actually meets my needs and a ridiculous amount more. I'm not crapping on Tech21 here, I have used their stuff and enjoyed it, but like you, wanted an all-in-one solution, it's just the Bass Fly Rigs weren't it for me.
I thought this pedal would be the only one I would need when I bought it. But the Octafilter section sucks and the compressor is difficult to manage. So I ended up going backwards from what you're saying – buying a different drive, different compressor, etc.
