  • I have one, using it for the analog delay mainly, especially with a shorter time to give the leads nice ambience which won't get in the way. The analog emulation is really really good in my opinion, it does not get lost and doesn't muddy anything up, it just gives everything nice foundation. Although the digital delay is really good too, I use DD3-T for that as I can plug a separate tap tempo and tap it in without holding anything, also while it's not on. Digital delay is more pronounced so taping it in is usually a must. The tap tempo on the Warlus is definitely nice to have but hold it for 2 secs, tap it in and hold it again, that takes some time and it often turns into tap dancing sweatfest combined with other things on my board. Moreover, when you tap the tempo, the last tap also should be the ending tap, which simultaneously exits the tap mode. It's safer to practice it this way. If you tap it and leave it in the tap mode for a bit and then hold the switch to exit you can easily end up with super long mess 😀 and changing it back will make that swirly sound of course. It definitely takes a bit of practice, but it's doable just fine. But one thing that I really wish Walrus did differently is the LED position. The switch is soft, so you don't feel it much, therefore being able to quickly glance at the LED is often nice, especially when entering/exiting the tap tempo mode. However, in this case the LED always ends up covered by my foot, and I have a big one. So unless I hit the switch with the right edge of my left foot for example (and this way I may end up in hitting other pedal next to it as well), I don't have any visual feedback until I move my foot away.
