Oh yeah, I'm 100% hip to MD being tough as heck, even in my own church.
I'm somewhat stressed because sometimes I gotta play "follow the leader" despite not knowing ANYTHING (some Sundays are pop quiz day for material I've neverbeen assigned). But I feel for my MD, because he HAS to know EVERYTHING.
It's tough. That's why I try to do my part. It'll be one less thing for him to worry about.

I ask a lot of my bass player friends being a bass playe my self. Primarily playing 4 strings. is having that extra B string worth it. Is having that 5th string Better than 4. Every one that I have asked has said that they love having that extra string.
