  • The Classic Series basses are basically identical to the Road Worn instruments except they lack the relic job.

  • I had one of these for a while. I wanted to love it so bad. It was just so inconsistent. The neck moved a lot. I was constantly having to tweak the setup. I could never get the action low enough.

  • I just bought a used 2008 Road Worn Jazz…looks just like yours. Very impressed with it. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard (the new ones use pau ferro). I have owned several US vintage series Jazz basses and I've played several real vintage ones and this one is as good as any Jazz I've ever played. Has that great worn in feel and it's just over 8 lbs. Amazing tone and playability. Have it strung with Thomastik-Infeld flats. The lower output is normal for any 60's era Jazz but it's not an issue for me. My only criticism is that I wish the relic job was more subtle, especially around the arm contour but that is just my preference.

  • I should've kept mine. The only downside was the tuners. Yours sounds great with the Aggies.

  • Bad ass right there. Looking to pick one of these this week. I've owned quite a few basses over the years and keep coming back to Jazzers. You laid out some cool grooves.
