  • Hi and thanks for all your good educationally videos. I just love them all. I have discovered a “problem” with Tidal: When you have selected in the app to download all music to your phone or iPad, you sort of expect that when you connect your device to your music streamer (Tidal Connect) that all you data-traffic goes from your iPad directly to your music streamer. But tests have shown me that that is not happening! The music is played from a Tidal server to your music streamer, and you download the same music one more time, or multiple times…. So this brings up a lot of interesting questions: What happens when your network, with your music streamer, goes off-line? Tidal stops working? Does Spotify have the same “problem” ? Is there a workaround when a user have selected to download all music to the client? Ye I know, use Bluetooth. .. Is that what you want when you use Tidal? Well this could be a long video from the expert him self

  • Hi. thank you so much for the review.. i love the streamer i got your advice and bought it… I need one cheap and really good in sound that has preamp capability on its own optical output for another system to connect to a DAC via optical. What would you suggest?

  • I love love love my MXN10. It has great features and outputs. Decent operating software from Cambridge "Stream Magic", has all the basics you need to save lists and favorites. I integrate into my Qobuz account via iPad. Super easy to setup. I especially like the preset buttons on the face which I use for web radio. WiFi also works flawless. I paid full fare so $399 is a STEAL for this. Hi Res streaming is such a joy. The dynamics are tingle good. Go for it.

  • It may be time to replace my WIIM pro or Argon Solo. I'll wait a bit and see what black Friday brings us.

  • Hi Ed, I'd love to get your take on the Bluesound Node Nano compared to the MXN10. A British Audiophile has been doing backward flips about the Bluedound, stating you'd need a £1000 dac to improve the sound quality.
