damn this shit has such a dope groove. been interested in a digitakt but was worried a step based sequencer would feel too "on grid" for hip-hop / beat music… clearly not the case lol

I would do it different. I would like dx7 background pads with a lot of effects and piano or Hammond organs rhythm. Then the actual song. Also I would use Linn drums for drums and add Juno for some kind "distract" from the main rhythm.
